5. Peeling Hard Boiled Eggs with A Spoon
You probably know how frustrating it is to peel hard boiled eggs. Sometimes the shell refuses to come off, and you end up peeling more egg off than the shell itself. But here’s a helpful trick that will leave your eggs whole.
Just tap the bottom end of the egg with a spoon, peel off a few small pieces, and then take the teaspoon and gently slide it underneath the shell. Once you got the spoon most of the way under the shell, just turn the egg until the shell falls off.
4. Olive Oil and Herb Ice Cubes
Here is something that many people haven’t heard of. But the idea behind it is genius. This keeps your fresh herbs from going bad, and puts them together with olive oil so they stay fresh and it’s easy to just grab one and throw in a pan when you’re ready to cook.

So what’s the secret ingredient? Regular white vinegar. Just take your eggs, and soak them in vinegar for about 5 minutes.
Then when you crack them into your boiling water, they will keep their shape in the water giving you the perfect poached egg anytime.

Have a bottle of wine that you just can’t finish up, and don’t want to waste the little bit left over? Why not freeze them and turn them into tasty ice cubes? Simply pour the wine into ice-cube trays, adding any color of wine you like, even mix and match white and red wines of your choice. and freeze.
Pull out a few cubes for a pan sauce that needs oomph, or toss some into a wine spritzer or pitcher of sangria.

Grab a baking sheet and line it with aluminum foil. Then take your strips of bacon and weave them into a square, don’t worry about them being perfectly square.
Add some pepper or seasoning of your choice, then place a grill rack on the top so the bacon doesn’t curl. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, and then top with eggs, and anything else you like on the top for the tastiest, if not the very first, bacon tacos you’ve ever had.
